Conservation Organizations that Hold Conservation Easements in Ohio

Land Conservation Partners

You will need to identify a suitable nonprofit or government agency in order to preserve natural or agricultural land with a Conservation Easement. Nonprofits who do this work are typically known as a “land conservancy” or a “land trust.”

The largest and most effective land trust in Northeastern Ohio is, in our opinion, the Western Reserve Land Conservancy: There may be other nonprofit organizations and government agencies in your area (such as park districts or soil and water conservation districts) that also hold Conservation Easements locally or around the State of Ohio.  Here are a few links:
